Anyone who knows me knows my obsession with travel, as well as helping students, parents and everyone else learn how easy and inexpensive it is to become true citizens of the world. If you love history, there is nothing like the power of actually standing in the place where history took place, and if you somehow got here without loving history, there is nothing like travel to help you discover amazing new foods, drinks, friends, and experiences. As the world slowly comes back from the pandemic, please use this page to help create your next trip, whether it is a weekend getaway to a nearby city or beach, or that life changing trip abroad you always dreamed about. The tips and links here are designed to make that happen, and I hope you share your travels with me!
Basic travel reservation sites!
Some of these sites are great to start your planning, or price shop for bargains if you already know where you want to go. Although it is already posted in the print at the bottom of the page, I do earn commissions from purchases made through the links which pay for the web hosting, and any surplus goes toward classroom supplies. All companies linked on the page are ones that I have used, know, or trust however, and if they do not treat you as well as they have treated me, let me know. These well known sites are especially useful if you want all your travel reservations in one easy place, but a little extra effort shopping multiple links and sites pricing out and making different reservations for your hotels, flights, car rentals, and tours can result in some significant savings. Look for more tips deeper into the page.
